[UPDATE] The Defining Food Equity Paper is out now

Hi Gini - I have an update for you!

Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) just released a report that defines Food Equity, highlights the barriers to equitable access, and outlines the solutions needed to support it in communities across the nation.

This is a huge step forward for our movement to ensure that everyone, in every zip code, has access to good food. I hope you'll take a few minutes to read more about Food Equity here and share this essential information with your family and friends.

Read the paper now to learn more about Food Equity!

All families deserve access to long-lasting, affordable good food but the U.S. has become a place where too many families can't find healthy, affordable food.

As the paper outlines, PHA's programs are trying to change this at every level of our food system. Our work seeks to improve the three pillars of Food Equity:

  1. A healthy food supply, in both public and private sectors, and through the charitable system.
  2. Access to affordable, good food in all communities.
  3. Awareness, knowledge and skills that empower people everywhere to select good foods and to quickly prepare them at home.

Thank you for supporting this essential work,
