September is Hunger Awareness Month, a time for bringing attention to the hunger crisis in our country. And with the soaring cost of groceries, this discussion is more urgent than ever.

That's why Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) has chosen this month to kick off our Annual Fund campaign with an ambitious goal of raising $25,000.

Together, with supporters like you, we'll be raising awareness about the importance of nutrition as we work to ensure every family in the United States not only has access to food, but food that supports good health long into the future.

Even though nutritious foods like fruits and vegetables have the power to lower cholesterol and blood sugar, only 1 in 10 Americans eat enough of them — with men, young adults, and low-income individuals most often failing to meet the recommended amount.
