Your July PHA Update

Believe it or not, the beginning of July marks halfway through 2023. The PHA team is marking this milestone by looking back on what we've accomplished so far this year.

We wanted to share a special thank you to everyone who contributed to help us end summer hunger throughout the month of June. All donations were TRIPLED for three times the impact on families when they need it most. If you missed your chance to support families this summer, it's not too late to give.

Just Released: Our Progress in 2022

PHA's annual Progress Report is an opportunity to celebrate the impact that we've been able to make together, and a time for us and our partners to be accountable to our commitments.

We continue to be uniquely positioned to work with partners across sectors to transform the food landscape, and our leadership in the food equity movement works to ensure that every American has long-lasting access to good food and not just empty calories in the moment. We are centering this work under the banner of Good Food for All. It's a rallying cry for change that is long overdue.

100 million servings of vegetables & fruits

We've made significant progress on our commitment of adding 100 million servings of vegetables and fruits to the marketplace by 2025 and standing together to expand the fight for food equity at every level of the food system. But there is still much more work to be done.

Food Equity In the News

Danone, one of our Veggies Early and Often partners, released their State of Nutrition Equality Study that surveyed 4,000 Americans on their attitudes, beliefs, and expectations around food and nutrition access.

The study had some fascinating findings including that 87% of consumers said that the most important issue facing Americans today is food access.

We recognize this reality, and that's why together, with our partners like Danone, we're working to create a future where everyone has access to affordable, nutritious foods.
