Please read this entire email carefully -- because what I'm about to tell you could determine whether the Second Amendment survives intact for the next generation.

Not even two months into 2026, it's already abundantly clear: this year could be among the most critical one that Second Amendment supporters have ever faced.

For the first time since 1994, the anti-gun Left is salivating over a brand-new California-style ban on so-called "assault weapons" that they believe can survive court challenges.

They are not advertising it on cable news.

They are not calling press conferences every night.

They are doing what they always do -- laying the trap quietly, then snapping it shut when they believe gun owners aren't paying attention.

Now, Democrats in the U.S. House and Senate are gearing up to use the fear of a "blue wave" election year to woo-over the handful of Republicans needed to RAM it through.

Then they'll sit and wait for another tragic shooting to slam it through Congress and on to President Trump's desk, daring him to veto it while the liberal media howls and screams.

If you remember, from 1994 to 2004, Americans lived under a sweeping federal ban on commonly owned semi-automatic firearms. It was a decade of government-mandated disarmament. It didn't make our communities safer, but it did make millions of law-abiding citizens instant criminals for practically thinking about purchasing another AR-15.

Had it not been for a ten-year sunset clause written into the 1994 bill and twenty years of pressure from National Association for Gun Rights members like you to NOT re-pass it, it would likely be the law of the land today.

This time, they won't make the same mistake. They are going after even more firearms than before… and they want to make it PERMANENT.

This is not a drill. The bills are already filed and awaiting legislative action.

And unless we take action today, millions of law-abiding Americans could pay the price.

Your signed "NO ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN" petition urges your elected officials to OPPOSE this radical anti-gun scheme.

The gun grabbers concocted a two-tiered approach to passing this "Assault Weapons" Ban.

It starts with resurrecting Dianne Feinstein's full-fledged "Assault Weapons" Ban, which was just re-introduced by disgraced U.S. Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and backed by Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) in the House.

This bill (S. 1531/H.R. 3115) would hand the Attorney General the power to create a "banned-guns roster," outlawing most semi-automatic firearms by name.

It would regulate scores of pistols, shotguns and rifles out of existence, require ATF pre-approval before you could own what few firearms remain, and ban standard-capacity magazines holding more than ten rounds.

But those flaming gun grabbers know they need a "backup" plan to sell this "deal" to Republicans. That's where Senator Martin Heinrich (D-NM) comes in.

Heinrich's so-called "GOSAFE" Assault Weapons Ban (S. 1370) is claimed to be "Supreme Court-proof " and "reasonable Republican-friendly."

By regulating firearms until they are virtually impossible to buy or manufacture but claiming that his bill does not "technically" ban guns, he believes he, along with every single Democratic Senator who has signed on as a co-sponsor, can sidestep both the Heller and Bruen decisions and any new pro-gun case the Court might take up.

Different bills.

Different co-sponsors.

Same objective: ban your guns.

And what's even more concerning, they claim weak-kneed Republicans, with a history of voting for gun control in the Senate, are ready to sign on...

Now, I don't know how much of that is true (though clearly some is), but I do not want to put it to the test! I want to stop this monstrosity here and now!!!

In Colorado, a similar concept just became law, coupled with a permit-to-purchase requirement that a United Nations bureaucrat could have written. If it passes in our nation's Capital, it will tie up the Second Amendment in a hostile lower federal court system packed with Biden appointees for the next decade.

The good news is we can still stop it. But we have to act now.

So please sign your NO "ASSAULT WEAPONS" BAN PETITION to your U.S. Senators and Representative immediately.

Right now, all eyes are on Senate Republicans, led by John Thune (R-SD) and what they'll do next.

Will they CAVE to Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer and Rep. Ilhan Omar by slipping the "Assault Weapons" Ban on President Trump's desk like they did with gun control back in 2018?

Or will they stand with gun owners and stop this gun ban dead in its tracks?

Over in the House, with Republicans clinging to a razor-thin majority… the gun grabbers only need a handful of weak-kneed Republicans to cave to their pressure to pass this tyrannical legislation.

And if the Democrats take back the House in November, this will be one of the very first things that Speaker Hakeem Jeffries brings to the floor.

That's why I'm asking you to sign your NO "ASSAULT WEAPONS" BAN petition to your U.S. Senators and Representative immediately.

These petitions will act as a pre-emptive strike, demanding that your elected officials take a stand and vote "NO" on this unconstitutional power grab if and when it comes to a vote.

The more grassroots Americans I can mobilize, the LOUDER our message gets. Of course, that takes precious resources.

Because when it comes to the Second Amendment, silence is surrender.

So, in addition to signing your NO "ASSAULT WEAPONS" BAN petitions, please agree to your most generous contribution to the National Association for Gun Rights as well.
