Imagine showing up to church one Sunday only to find out your priest or pastor has been kidnapped by Islamic terrorists.
This is the harsh reality Christians in Nigeria are facing right now.
In fact, just recently, a group of priests and Seminarians in Nigeria were gathering for evening prayers and were attacked by Islamic terrorists.
The rector of the church, Father Thomas Oyode, was kidnapped.
Before I tell you the rest of Father Thomas's story, I'm counting on your urgent help today.

My name is Jason Jones.
You may know me as a podcast host, the author of The Great Campaign Against the Great Reset or even as a Christian filmmaker.
But perhaps my most important "job" right now is serving as the founder of the Vulnerable People Project (VPP).
VPP works around the globe to defend the vulnerable from violence – just like our fellow Christian parishes in Nigeria who are under constant attack from Islamic terrorists.
I realize this sounds otherworldly – and believe me it feels that way – yet this is what countless of our brothers and sisters in Christ are facing every day.
But I know how you can help.
Despite the threat these churches face, we can provide security for a church for just $250 a month.
If I could convince just ten Christians to give $25 to this email, that would be one less church in Nigeria that would fall prey to Islamic terrorists this month.
We can't sit idly by while fellow Christians are slaughtered!
So, while we must pray and encourage every Christian we know to pray, we must do more to ensure their safety.

Unlike other non-profits, we have very little overhead at the Vulnerable People Project.
The majority of support we provide in Nigeria and a few other African nations is for security officers and equipment.
Only 8% of every donation goes to administrative costs – which is allowing 92% of every dollar donated to be used for our life-saving programs like providing protection for the Christians on the ground in Nigeria.
I'm confident that, with your help, we can provide the necessary support and aid to the Nigerian churches that are requesting our security.
The truth is, prayer works.
In fact, after 11 days with his captors, Father Thomas was released!
It was nothing short of a miracle.
I know this wouldn't have happened without supporters like you faithfully petitioning God for Father Thomas's safe release.
And I also know with the persecution of Christians around the world increasing, you and I must do more to lift our voices to God to protect His people.
