Gini, We all know that "the way it's always been done" isn't good enough. It's led to the poor health outcomes so many Americans are facing today. That's why Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) is taking creative approaches to our work ensuring that every family, in every zip code in America has access to healthy food. Our partnership with Instacart is one of the key ways we're fixing our broken food system. In Indianapolis, we provided more than 1.3 million servings of good food for families in need — and now we're expanding on the work we've done by kicking off the second phase of our Good Food for All program. Following receiving 10 weeks of free produce boxes, hundreds of families are now receiving $50 a month to buy produce on Instacart along with a free Instacart+ membership, which gives them free delivery. This gives them the dignity to choose the good food they want to eat and the convenience of having it delivered to their door. PHA is helping families in underserved communities access fresh fruits and vegetables and continue to build long-term, healthy habits. Watch the video below to learn more. |

Our team is excited to be able to bring long-term access to good food to families in need. We can't wait to see the results so we can apply them to our future work in Indianapolis and beyond! We have so much work left to do to make food equity a reality. But changes to help people thrive — not just survive — require new and innovative thinking at every level of the food system. That's why I'm so grateful to you and our community for helping the fight for good food. Sincerely, Jason Wilson Head of Communications Partnership for a Healthier America |
